“Catheters should only be for elderly people”
This is not an uncommon belief but it is completely wrong. Sadly, people are still undereducated about catheters, who uses them and why. ‘Old age’ is not a reason to use a catheter. Millions of people from all ages and walks of life use one, for many different reasons. Whether you are 5, 15, 50 or 95, there is nothing to be embarrassed by if you pee using a catheter.
